Reducing provincial government interference
GOALS:
- Highlight the importance of different mobility options
- Encourage the provincial government to stay out of municipal road design and implementation
HOW WE GET THERE:
- Improve the communication of the benefits of protected wheeling infrastructure, such as reduced road damage, improved physical health, reduced road congestion, etc.
- Work to improve data tracking around usage and environmental condition impacts from increased cycling
- Explore the feasibility of protection of existing bike routes to avoid future attacks from provincial governments
